Proven is pleased to announce that construction work is well underway on a new 7-Eleven in Baldivis.
Acting in the Project Manager/Superintendent role on behalf of MGP Property, Proven was engaged to oversee the project from development approval through to design, tender and project delivery. Located on the corner of Fifty Rd and Baldivis Rd, the site consists of four new commercial developments, two of which are under the scope of Proven Project Management. Proven was engaged at the inception of the project to coordinate the Development Approvals, initial design and run the tender process, leading to the appointment of Pitts Design & Construct on an amended AS4902 (General Conditions for Design and Construct) contract for the construction of the 7-Eleven.
Construction is now well underway and our focus has shifted to the delivery of the 7-Eleven fuel and retail store. Generally work is progressing well however the project is experiencing the same trade resourcing and material shortage issues faced by the WA construction industry at large. In a COVID-19 disrupted market Proven has taken a collaborative approach with Builder Pitts Design and Construct to ensure that the project team collectively delivers the best possible result for our Client and manages COVID-19 related disruptions and risk.
