Proven Project Management is pleased to be assisting Curtin University to deliver this multidisciplinary learning facility to benefit current and future medical, nursing and allied health students.
Jointly funded by Curtin University and the Commonwealth’s Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) program, Curtin University has transformed selected spaces within the Kalgoorlie campus into a clinical training facility which will support rural medical, nursing and allied health students. The facility allows students to undertake an academic year of studies in a rural location through the Rural Clinical School of WA.
Refurbished spaces within Buildings 701 and 703 have seen the construction of specialist facilities including a medical Simulation Lab and clinical examination rooms and two classrooms which are available to Medical School students and WA School of Mines students as well as partner organisations of Curtin University. Each of these facilities have integrated audio-visual services which allow students access to remote learning from around Australia.
The Curtin Medical School Rural Health Campus was completed in June 2021.
