Bulk earthworks are now complete at the final staged release of Hammond Heights estate in Hammond Park, with up to 3m of import fill in place.
The 34-lot final stage of subdivision is being managed by our Taylor Conway and Laura Wiseman on behalf of our valued clients. Our organisation (through our Rowe Group Planning division) has been involved with the project throughout early planning approvals which included navigating a complex Structure Plan approval process. With the subdivision adjoining a Conservation Category Wetland (CCW), the interface and buffer between the two land uses required careful consideration and planning.
Now into the delivery phase, the proposed residential lots will reap the benefits of sweeping views over the CCW and the protected bushland surrounds. A small area of public open space (POS) abutting the wetland will also serve to provide public amenity adjacent to the wetland and accommodate a landscaped stormwater treatment swale.
With the completion of bulk earthworks, the project will now commence construction of deep and shallow service installations, retaining walls and roadworks. Landscape embellishment works within the POS and streetscapes will immediately follow civil works, with issue of new titles forecast for mid-2024.
Thanks to our project team for their efforts to date – Bulletproof Civil, Stantec, MNG, Emerge Associates, Hyd2o, Bayley Environmental and Bushfire Safety Consulting.
