Modus Property, in collaboration with Proven Project Management and under the guidance of Senior Project Manager Rachel Thorogood, was engaged to provide services for the refurbishment and fit-out of houses for the Zonta House Refuge Association, a specialist service dedicated to aiding women affected by family and domestic violence. This collaboration focuses on fitting out several homes, transforming them into safe, comfortable havens for women in need.
These houses, crafted with care by Modus Property, are uniquely designed, each featuring a room for an overnight staff member, office space, and private counselling areas. A key feature of these homes is the high-tech security system, ensuring the safety and privacy of the residents. This thoughtful layout ensures round-the-clock support and a conducive environment for one-on-one professional consultations.
Adhering to high standards, each home offers privacy, spacious rooms, and cutting-edge security, reflecting Proven’s commitment to quality and empathetic design. The project culminated in a warmly received grand opening on January 15, 2024, marked by an inaugural smoke ceremony, a symbol of new beginnings.
This project signifies much more than the provision of physical shelters; it embodies the creation of a supportive community and the fostering of recovery and empowerment for women. It demonstrates the profound impact that results from blending professional expertise with heartfelt compassion. Modus Property and Proven Project Management are immensely proud to be a part of this transformative initiative.
