The project consisted of a new 7-Eleven Fuel Station and Convenience Store together with an adjoining two storey head office for 7-Eleven WA which has become a centre and home for the Western Australia 7-Eleven team.
Proven Project Management was engaged to provide a number of services including procurement of a detailed design team, tender and recommendation of a building contractor, appointment of the successful contractor and implementation of a building contract. During construction Proven Project Management acted as Superintendent administering all aspects of the contract.
Throughout the project Proven Project Management assisted with negotiating and mitigating many challenges which are always present in development of service stations such as deep excavations, extremely short construction durations coupled with long lead times in services connections, and fit out, commissioning, and opening of a retail outlet selling dangerous goods. The project was delivered successfully and both the Fuel Station and Office opened on schedule.
