Proven Project Management was appointed by Vicinity Centres to deliver the Perth DFO development at Perth Airport which is their first new DFO centre in Western Australia.
The development is a joint venture between Perth Airport Pty Ltd and Vicinity Centres and will provide approximately 24,000m² of gross lettable area and parking for over 1500 cars.
Proven Project Management was involved in the project from late 2016 through to its completion in Sept 2018. We assisted the client through the completion of the design development and procurement stages eventually awarding Georgiou Group the design and construct contract. Construction completed ahead of programme in September 2018 and on budget.
The project interfacing with the PAPL operational and development requirements provided a significant challenge which we overcame due to our knowledge of PAPL approval processes. Proven implemented an approval process with PAPL to ensure the 115 tenancy fitout were not delayed and able to be delivered on time.
The retail space includes approximately 115 tenancies including high-end premium outlets, specialty stores and 7 food and beverage outlets as well as an outdoor play area, internal glazed oculi and high-level finishes throughout.
