Proven Project Management has been instrumental in a series of minor yet impactful works across Murdoch University, showcasing our versatility and adaptability in managing diverse project requirements.
Psychology Clinic Expansion in Building 440: This project involved transforming rundown offices into consultation rooms for postgraduate psychology students. Our role spanned the entire project lifecycle, from the initial design by Clare Gee to construction and completion. We revitalized the space with new paint, blinds, lighting, and furniture, and enhanced security with cameras and duress alarms.
Southern Grains Hub: Currently in construction, this unique project required innovative soil remediation. The initial soil mix led to high acidity, impeding plant growth in trial field plots. We coordinated extensively to find the optimal soil mix, avoiding the need for complete soil replacement.
Unusual Pet Vet Refurbishment: At the design stage, we coordinated the refurbishment of a small animal hospital into a wildlife ward for unique species. The project included the installation of new hotboxes, joinery, and removal of floors and doors to enhance workflow. The construction was underway at my departure and is likely completed.
Other Projects: We’ve also completed a series of office refurbishments across the university, focusing on modernizing spaces with new furniture, fresh paint, and carpets. These include updates in areas like AQCMP Office Space, ITS & Engineering Consolidation, assorted office and meeting room refurbishments.
Each project, whether it’s a sophisticated clinic renovation or a simple office refresh, reflects our commitment to delivering quality and functionality, tailored to the unique needs of Murdoch University.
