Proven Project Management undertook Water’s Edge Estate to bring together two separate landholdings under one estate of 52 lots with separate construction contracts.
It included the clean-up of some limited contamination from previous marketing gardening uses.
In order to de-risk the project from a rock excavation perspective, a thorough geotechnical investigation was conducted prior to the commencement of works. We successfully managed the approval of bulk earthworks while the design was being implemented on site in order to ensure earthworks were conducted outside the Council moratorium period.
The project included the rehabilitation of wetland buffer and the creation of usable parkland and playground facilities, including the creation of park fronting lots with direct access.
