Senior Project Manager

Rachel Thorogood is a highly experienced Project Manager and Contract Administrator with a diverse background in the construction industry. With over13 years of experience, she has worked on a wide range of projects including Commercial Workplace, Medical, Healthcare, Education, Retail, WA Police, Hospitality fitouts and refurbishments, Residential and Commercial new builds.

Rachel possesses an excellent understanding of contractual and commercial documentation, is skilled at negotiating complex contracts with key stakeholders, and has the ability to optimise workflow of the project team to optimise efficient outcomes, these efficiencies drive improved programme and commercial performance for the project.
Rachel has demonstrated success in negotiating complex project issues on site with Contractors and is a solution focussed Project Manager.
Rachel is also skilled in complex project programming, producing detailed project progress reports and overseeing OHS and contractor site performance. Additionally, Rachel has excellent understanding of NCC regulations.

Rachel has a background in Architecture and therefore has a keen eye for detail which drives quality control for the project lifecycle on behalf of the client, she has a 100% record for meeting and exceeding client expectations of project delivery.

    Stage 2 of the 50,000 m2 Large Format Retail Development. Remediation of contaminated site. Tilt up construction across two buildings which house 8 tenancies in total, with large format retail and food and beverage tenancies.
  • Curtin University Faculty of Health Sciences – Project Manager and Superintendent – $4m
    Fitout to consolidate multiple faculties across two building on campus. Significant stakeholder engagement for project lifecycle.
  • Curtin University B117 Boiler Plantroom Expansion – Project Manager and Superintendent – $10m
    Construction of new areas and expansion of mechanical plant room and Mechanical Infrastructure upgrades.
  • WAPOL Palmyra, Wagin, Williams and Narrogin – Project Manager – $6m
    Construction of new and refurbishment of Police Stations on behalf of Dept. of Finance. High security infrastructure within operational and custodial areas of Police station.
